Hey everyone.

Sounds like a couple of buddies and I may run Holy Cross this weekend.

I've wheeled jeeps on at least 35's for the past 10 years, so I'm a decent driver. Not used to wheeling my LX450 yet.

Will my stock LX450 with 33's, lockers f/r and slee sliders make it ok?

Thanks for the advice. I'm thinking that I'll leave my Lexus at the trailhead and ride with my buddy who is also on an fj80. His has a 2.5" lift and good bumpers. Lots of body damage already, so I'm sure we will have a good time banging up his.

My tires are some sort of SUV tire. Not much meat to them.

I ran HC on 235/85 (around 32") tires and 2" lift on my rover. It made it but spotting is important! You can do it but Nay did bring up good points!

That's good to know about HC and its doability with 32s and 2" of lift. That's near my current height. I'm sure our ground clearance would still be different due to different makes, but still. I've always heard such metal crushing stories about HC. I've never run it, but once I get my rear locker in, it will be in my sights. I know driving and spotting would still be crucial though.

What are you running on your rig now in terms of tires and lift?

Does 235 really translate to 32s?

235/85/15 = 30.7x9.3/15

I use a metric coverter located here:
http://www.redrock4x4.com/tech/tire_calc.php?txtWidth=235&txtAspect=85&txtRim=15&submitButtonName=Calculate&method=metric

I'm now running Super Swamper Radial TSLs, which are true 32s.
