This place look pretty cool - might be a nice alternative to Moab for a long weekend. Anyone been there? Anyone want to go?

I haven't been either, but a guy I've run a few trails with says it's worth the trip.

I've never heard of it before, now it's on the radar.

So many trails, too little time.

Being that far south I bet snow is much less of a factor.

I was there a few years ago. Pretty good trails and close to Farmington if you want a hotel.

I’ve seen some pics is all. May be of interest; might as well play around Durango/Silverton area when in the area as well if the right time of year.

wondering if they do overlap in terms of season....Silverton/ouray is high pass territory in Aug/Sept. Wondering how hot Farmington area gets...not much different than the hot desert 4corners region...might be better in later fall or even more winter(ish) months minus the short days....

Good point on the heat, timing would be key to make that concept work. The average high is 90 in July, 87 in August, to a comfortable 79 in September.

Was there years ago and really enjoyed it. While they have trails designated, to me it seemed like just a bunch of obstacles in fairly close proximity that we drove around and played on. I did feel like a CJ-7 on 35's was somewhat undersized though with good spotters we were not denied on any of the obstacles we tried.
