How did it go?

It went great, we put chains on right from start and did Ironclads without any drama and then Bunce. I got stuck in the big drift that gets me every winter...... JP joined us also and he made tracks to the gate and we were able to make it all the way!

It was a super fun day. I think I might like wheeling in the winter more than summer.

Not sure what is up with photo rotation, they look fine on my ipad, phone, and tv. Any way I can rotate them on this site?

It was great watching Jim climb this hill. I have a video but too lazy to upload it right now.

Thanks for coming out guys, great first run of the winter! I was very impressed with Shane’s Land Rover, amazing how well it did and with stock size tires too.
Heres a little clip showing how deep the snow gets

I wish I could claim those were stock size tires, those are actually the result of a ton of effort, cutting, grinding, swapping calipers, and they still rub a bit. Can't just walk out of the showroom and bolt 35's onto a Rover, definitely one area I am jealous of the Jeeps.

Can’t just bolt on 35’s on a Jeep TJ either, needs lots of work (driveshaft, springs, control arms, spacers, etc). I didn’t realize you had 35’s. Looks great also!

If you get the time to post it - you'll have an audience of at least one!

No 35's for me, I just meant I had heard that on Rubicons 35's fit stock. I have 33.5's. I have only seen one Discovery3/4 with 35s on it, and that was the personal vehicle of a shop specializing in modifying them, so who knows how much work he had to do. I'm actually about to switch to 32.5s for the winter so I have a little more room for chains.
