No known reason why the forum was offline this morning.

The host's support site was VERY sluggish when I submitted the support ticket. I'm thinking their systems were at issue more than a single forum issue for us.

Hosted on AWS by chance? Amazon is getting hammered for Prime Day. Even their official site is buggy today.

I do not know. Our good host sold and the new landlord was terrible (or perhaps the old good host was terrible) in notifying users of the change. I only found out about it when I went on a trip and tried to access e-mail and couldn't. It was then that I found out about the change and that I had 2+ weeks of forum e-mails to tend (new registrations). That was a large strike against the changeover. I did some research on the new host and reviews are poor. I'm happy that the site was functional reasonably quickly after I submitted a ticket (~ 2 hours). I have an option to move and will research with a new host to see if a move would be good for us.
