Just kidding... The mag made a good soft buffer between the gas tank and jack stand...:D

I smashed up the factory skid/cover (tinfoil holding the gas tank on) last weekend on O.C.G. - go figure... Anyhow, not wanting the plastic gas tank to get messed up too, I pulled the cover off and pounded it back into shape and shot it with rattle can black. I need the factory cover because I'm going to install the Rock Hard tank skid (over it) once it gets here...soon I hope... After about 2 hrs and a few busted knucks, it was all (somewhat) pretty again. Also had to replace the fairlead after the O.C.G. run.

hopefully that new fairlead will hold up a bit better. i'm still amazed that you bent it so bad.

I hope the new fairlead lasts too. The Rock Hard skids got here yesterday!!! No thanks to that shop over in Englewood. All I will say is their prices are way too high for this country boy. And, their sales performance sucks so I won't be buying 4x4 parts from them ever again. :D
