debating 1980 Toyota pickup bobbed long bed, EFI swap, 5 Speed swap, new drive shaft new etc etc etc. Still needs some loving, dont have the time to do it. Lots of extra parts including doors, transfer case, dash, ecu, etc etc

The Toyota can be a great rig, but the 80 is an early model, and has some downfalls. Done right it can be a great rig, but can require a fair amount of work. Do your homework first.

I agree their is homework to be done on it today. But I am really looking for something I can just leave on blocks and learn from.

Brandon the '80 will be a good learning experience for you.
They have some small issue that can be fixed for little funds.
