Same links but I am a computer-tard sometimes so I posted them two different ways.

This is a description of the hard to find described trails in the north area of the San Rafael Swell that are not noted anywhere else I have incessantly googled.

This is a great, underrated area, home to the Devil's Racetrack, my first difficult trail (that I chickened out on half way, I still had my temp tags on!) That can be found when searching for bike trails.

I have more pictures on my myspace page. If you want to see them, just pm me.

I find this area good for when Moab is too busy and it isn't warm enough (for me) around Blanding, Canyonlands, or the other high elevation areas.

Ok, but right now it is 1130 pm and I have to upload them from my laptop to Photobucket so I'll get to that tomorrow. I will put up some I already have saved though. I appreciate the interest. I can copy my topo map too, if my scanner isn't being stupid. If anyone goes, I will share my secret camp spot! I am going to go find it again next weekend. We are going for a few days. No trails though, just dirt and walking for me this time.

This is along the walking trail. Petroglyphs all over the place too.

You can't see the drop offs on either side of the trail in these.

Sweet! Could be a good multi-day expedition run one of these days

The Devil's Racetrack would be an all-day trail. I turned around after the bridge seen in my pictures. It was getting late and I was hearing warnings from the ATVers about the upcoming sections. Being inexperienced, I headed back. There are pictograph roads and lots of other trails in the area that I have yet to go through. Tidwell Draw would be an all-day too. It is over 15 miles and you can hardly even see the trail. We should keep it in mind.

TOO COOL!!!!!

Thanks! I was laying on my back on the trail with my good camera. This is the spot my SO and I are heading to tomorrow. I found it kind of the first time on accident and I intend to go find it again, and mark it with my GPS.
