I didn't realize this so if you're like me and have a bunch of miles, I know United lets you cash in for Amazon cards. If memory serves correct it's 15k for $100? I cashed in all the miles I racked up from overseas travel and got my bumper and winch. Since I was 1k status I got double miles. Ultimately every trip to China, Africa, or Israel netted me $200 on Amazon. I don't know about other airlines but if you have a bunch of miles, it's a good option.
