Any suggestions from anybody ??
On what other seat may fit , I have the original bases !

Why not an aftermarket seat? Tons more options that way. Also a lot safer and more comfortable options that way.

My previous Scout I put in CRX seats. My current Scout I am putting in Miata seats. Both are much more comfortable, and building brackets for them is easy.

My old ride used Escort seats !!
This new one is getting Camry's

The problem with a lot of bucket seats in the Scout is that the steering wheel sits low, and the box for the seats sits high. It leave minimal clearance between your legs and the steering wheel. I found the CRX and Miata seats are both very low seat bottoms, allowing you to sit a bit lower, and giving a bit more room for your legs to clear the steering.
