On the map the road is really 2wd to where the TH is located. After that it is very easy until you hit the first 129 T. Worst case scenario after that I'd rate it a 3. Difficulty is comparable to Pierson Park.

If you go with a group watch out for 129B. At most you can get 3 vehicles at the end and there is little room to turn around. 129B is where the pics of the milled slab lumber piles are located. TrailDamage.com indicates there are old mines. I don't think so. I saw no indication of mining activity in the area. Rather I saw lots signs of old timber cutting activity. I think the slab wood piles are from old saw mills.

On TrailDamage.com there is a discussion or mention of a route to the right that is extremely off camber. I believe they are talking about road 154. If you look at the map there is a break between two portions of 154. I suspect the off camber section is the area where the road is not marked. This road is also signed as Greer road.

The road entrance is of 44h and is not marked. It looks like a driveway and has a single no trespassing sign on it.

Anyway I had a fun time and would have gone to the end of 154C if it hadn't been for the fire.
