So I am thinking of getting the Warn 9.0 Rc Rock Crawling winch to go on the new custom bumper SKINNY FABRICATIONS is building for my 2011 Rubicon, does anyone know of any reason not to? I like the weight, the synthetic rope, and the specs for it, seems like a good fit for the Jeep....

My dad has it on his jeep and he hasn't had any trouble with it.

they are great winches. only downfall being the short rope. i would buy an extra 50 or 100 foot synthetic extension just for drill.

I actually already have roughly 200' of recovery straps and chain each, to use with my come-alongs for the plow Jeeps and the atv(it has winch). I think the shorter line on the unit is a good thing, less wear on the motor and battery reeling in 50' instead of 100'+, IMO.
Synthetic line is not cheap!

If you get into a hard pull, and have to double your cable with a snatch block, you are down to about a 22 foot reach. I'd still prefer to have 100' of cable on my winch.
