View Full Version : Kelty Shade tent

12'x12' shade tent with movable/removable side wall. 6'4" at the highest point. Paid $300 for it. I checked the REI site and the Kelty site and it appears that this tent might be discontinued, but the equivalent tent with wall also runs @ $300. Sets up fast and easy with two people, but I have set it up alone as well. $150 for FR4x4 members. PM me if you're interest. It is currently set up if you want to see it.

Good quality stuff. I have the one that attaches to the roof rack of a truck.

It is good quality! Sadly, we never use it. Our camping trips are usually no longer than a couple of nights before we pack it up and get a hotel/motel, so it was kind of a wasted purchase. But I can remember a few trips to Moab where it would have been a SAVIOR!!! And there was a week in RMNP when it would have been worth it's weight in gold (getting stuck in a really open, no-shade-to-be had spot). Anyways... I'm open. If you think I'm asking too much, just make me an offer. We need the space in the garage!:D

Jackie, do you still have the shade? I might be interested for $50. I think it would be nice to have on camping trips since we just bought a new camper as well as setup in backyard.... I could come get it this week I think

does not look like i am going to pick it up today... work always seems to get in the way! I guess if one of the others can pick it up before I do, then have at it.
