After putting 35 miles a day on my 8mpg (downhill) rig for 6 months, I was ready to stop paying so much for getting to work. So, I went out and bought a 1997 Subaru Outback! So far I love it, it gets about 25-27mpg and goes anywhere. I took it to Lake McConaughy last weekend- sand and all, it rocked!

So I don't get hounded for not posting pics: :lmao:

Had the tow strap hooked to the receiver hitch, pulled big logs around for the campfire... it was great. No complaints so far, wish it had a sunroof.

Nice rig. Great to have something that doesn't flatten the wallet out too bad for a DD.

That truck ended up pouring oil out of several areas in the engine compartment, kinda started getting flaky with being reliable... had to let 'er go. Plus, only having 4 gears really kinda sucked in that thing. Ski season should be a breeze now too!
