Here is a link to the trip report on the Rising Sun web site. There are some pictures posted up there and a link back to this trip report.

    wow 20 rigs!

Actually kinda glad I couldn't make it - that is too many for my tastes. How many RSVP'd? Sounds like not nearly that many.

Personally I prefer around 5 rigs, but definitely under 10.

Glad everyone had a good time though!

And yet having this many rigs never presented an issue. The group moved right along on the trail. No one got stuck prior to the big snow bank except for when Bruiser tried to show off and do the icey hill in 2WD. You didn't think I was going to let that one by did you Justin?

It was a great opportunity for some of the less experienced folks to get some wheel time in on packed snow and ice and see just how capable their rigs really are. I bet they have a lot more confidence today than before the run yesterday.

FJBrady showed us that white FJ40's really do know how to fly. If he'd of had a set of horns and red nose on his hood he probably could've made it the last 10 feet without the ATV's help.

In large part things moved along well because we had great assistance from several in the group and very strong communication. I really appreciate all the people in the group that willingly lent a hand in getting the group safely through the couple of spots where it might have been a bit tricky.

Cheapest set of black TRDs on ebay is $1400. I think not.

People here know how much I like playing with rattle can...the spare is now black and both the front and rear bumpers have a layer of rubberized undercoating on them. Sorry, hijack off :-)

Wooo hoo.....look at that fancy ass rim (emphasis not on Ass, by the way). Looks good, especially with the stark lighting. Now just go buy four more silver ones and rattle can those too, and you have yourself a set of SPE (Special Pathrat Edition) rims.

Great pics Sthmstr (what happened to vowels in your name by the way?). I've seen all angles of me trying to get up that rock slab now, so I'm happy. Well, almost happy, would have been cool to see video of it, but I'm not picky.

hehee......nice. I say the [adjective]-ass [Noun] combination a lot, and nearly every time think the same thing. Usually the thought is "emphasis on ass" but this time its not. Woo hoo for word play, and finding a comic to illustrate it.

Thanks. I got a few more I can email you if you want. No vids. Sorry :(

No vowels in the net handle so I can eventually get the same thing on my License plate. :-) Also kinda masks my nerdiness.
