Nice shows Haku!"
Do you enjoy being a loss prevention officer? What do you get paid, if you don't mind me asking. Reason I ask is I noticed Securitas is hiring right now, for loss prevention officers. I'm currently looking for different employment.
Right now I work for a company called Correctional Management Incorporated (CMI). The manage halfways houses in Colorado. I'm basically a correctional officer in a community corrections facility. I deal with the scum of the earth on a daily basis...theives, drug addicts, wife beaters, exc. They do nothing but whine and ***** about how bad their lives are...yet they don't want to do anything about it. Its like babysitting 80 grown men. Bottom line, the job blows....especially now that they switched me to night shift. Midnight to 8 am, with mondays and tuesdays off.
I've been interested in law enforcement and fire fighting for a long time. I'd love to get into one of those fields, but opportunities are limited and competition is high. I got to the second phase of examination with CU Boulder PD a few months back. I then received an email telling me I was number 67 out of 400 applicants, and they would call me for an interview if the 1 postition wasn't filled with the first 66 other applicants. So, of course I didn't hear back.
I've been waiting for State Patrol to accept applications again, but they haven't been accepting for months.
I have a B.A. in Sociology
Experience in Construction, lifeguarding, catering, and supervising.
