"I am doing all headlight jobs for $59.95 this week(for FR4x4 family). When you say all the way around are you saying the tailights are yellow too?"
He said no not the tail lights just the head lights....
Can you do anything for old glass lenses? My '87 CRX is horrible, but I cant find a fix that works and no one sells replacements for them.
What if I only need one lens done - and what if it's glass?
I'm not sure what the issue is with it other than being old - and my other lesn was replaced by the dummy who ran a stop sign several years ago and ripped the fender off my Maxima among other things.

Glass sealed beams are so cheap it would be alot cheaper just to replace it. Above is a link to the CRV headlamp.
Sorry guys wish I could help you out.
The headlamp on my Maxima is $190ish.
What year Maxima? You positive it's not plastic?
I'm not positive, so I could be wrong. It's a 97.
hmmm...I found better prices at RockAuto. But they list a "composite" for like $38 so I'm guessing that's plastic, then they have some for $105, but doesn't say composite.
I would bet it's plastic on that year model. Almost all autos went to plastic in early 90's. It would be half the special or $30 this week Ft. Collins is a little further than I like to go but hopefully we could work something out... Do you work up there too?
No I actually still work in Greeley. Not asking ya to drive way up here and I can't get down there this week anyway.
Hmm, thanks for the link! I've looked all over the place and hadn't found anything. I'll give those a try.

Pathrat called me last week about restoring the headlights on her Mazda MX3, so I thought I would share the before and after pics with everyone! Thanks for the business Stephanie!
Glad you posted up, I might have some business for you! I'll pass your info along and tell him to mention my name. He's doing some other work on the car now, he might want to get that done first.
Another question... What is the best way to keep the lenses clear? Mine looked great but I'm having a hard time keeping them that way and there are some bad scratches.
Do you know what the scratches are from? You should just be able to put a coat of polish on them. But if the scratches are bad they might need my polisher. I don't mind coming and touching them up for you sometime when I am over that way...n/c of course!
What type of polish? I've just been using the PlasticX stuff once every few weeks as the lenses cloud up. Maybe a touch up in the spring! Not worried about it now with winter on it's way. Thank you!
ill be getting hold of ya Reese to do my chevy metro lights. Can you pm a general quote to base funding from?
