    Might do a blinking red light too. Wife's Forester has an alarm with a blinking LED. You can certainly tell it is armed. Good deterrent.

    I firmly believe in kill switches, esp. after my truck was stolen! most of the time they don't need to be anything crazy just a simple switch that way a theif can't make off with it in 30 sec.

    If it's a fuel cut kill switch, it can do double duty as an easy way to depressurize the system for maintenance.
