    Default Mt. Herman 4-17

Yesterday after getting everything buttoned up on my truck I decided to go play in the snow. Everything went pretty good for the first half. I thought i had enough fuel to make it up and over to woodland park. well i was wrong... so i called my buddy ryan to bring up some gas. couple hours later we were back moving...for a minute. i was off making fresh tracks when i noticed that he wasn't behind me anymore. So i turned around and he had slid the back of his truck off the side of the road. so i hooked up the strap to him and tried tugging him out. only to wind up off the side of the road too. after digging for about 3 hours and getting no where we called funrover, jamie, and sonofbr. they showed up at about 11pm and we were all out of there by about 1am. the snow was incredibly slick and offered little traction. everyone got a little stuck at one point or another. All in all good day, VERY long day seeing as how i had been up there since about noon. Big thanks to everyone!

Here are the pics i have, just scenic. funrover has pics of the recovery operation.

Chris this is a great idea. I know most folks have their own little group to call on, but you never know where you may be. Having a list of all the folks willing to help and their location would be great!

What Jaime isn't telling us is that it is a tank... just without treads.
