It's become a bit of a tradition to go out to Moon Gulch after work a few times during the winter and see how far we can get up the trail before the hour is too late or the ratio of winching gets too high to bear. Moon Gulch is a wonderful trail for this because it's very slightly uphill the whole way (if you can get in you can get out) and there's no cliffs or big ditches. Very friendly.
I'm headed up Friday night to do this with forum lurker lyapunov and a few others.
Any takers to join? Plan is 6:30pm at the trailhead to air down and chain up. My passenger seat is also free if anyone wants to just tag along for the experience.
