    Default Hey everybody!

My name's Brian, thanks for adding me! I grew up in CO but moved away in my 20s for school and work. My wife and I launched our son into the world in 2019 and were able to come back home after 18 years. I've always loved exploring the Rockies-- used to do a lot of backpacking and I'm excited to finally be home and get my first 4x4. It's a '22 4Runner off-road and I love it. After exploring a few easy to moderate trails I'm hooked. The most challenging I've attempted is Argentine Pass in September and it was definitely at the edge of my ability level. It was a good reminder of the wisdom of going with a partner and learning from people with more experience, hence finding this group. I'm looking forward to meeting others who love exploring our beautiful state and learning from you. I'm a pastor at a church in the Denver area so Sundays are kind of busy, but Saturdays are usually free for an outing and the best part is that my weekday schedule is flexible so I can usually get out when places are less crowded. Glad to be part of the group!

Rather slow around here this time of year. It will pick up in spring as the trails melt off.

    Welcome!

I'm catching up on some intro's - a nice time with family over Christmas.

You mentioned Argentine being at your edge for a trail. What section of the trail pushes your limit? I can think of at least two spots though I'm curious if something else is on the list.

Welcome! I always love running Argentine Pass, the views are awesome up top. Plus you can see an occasional moose down by the creek. Thank you for spreading the good word, Blessings!
