"Why do so many cars and trucks get stuck on sketchy passes in the Rockies? We asked state officials, tow truck drivers, and even college professors to weigh in."

    Classic "ass clown"...

Wayne Barger, owner of Animas Towing & Recovery in Southwest Colorado, this summer rescued a Penske truck moving furniture over Ophir Pass—a high alpine route between the towns of Silverton and Ophir.

This went around our Jeep forum, frustrating. I still need my Black Bear badge, I hope they open it next year. There are too many people on these trails that don’t care enough and are being taught there are no consequences for their actions.

I’m all for people getting out and exploring, trying something new. But, they gosh darn well better not be an idiot doing it and ruining it for everyone else, (cough cough Moab).
