I am planning a trip there to see colors and take the photos to post my truck up for sale but not sure I will be ready in time. Should know by Friday. I might meet you at trailhead as 285 is easier on truck than 70.

Jim we are a solid Yes. Its been a while since I have done trail we can take turns on leading no big deal. meet place and time work just fine as well.

Up the creek, over to Argentine Pass, over to McClellan mountain, down and out via the railbed?

It looks like no rain (though a spotty cloud might pop) with cooler temps. I'm no top no doors for this (as of right now) so it looks like a coat to be worn all day.

I’m open to it all and can lock in route in am. I have entire day blocked for wheeling.

ooohhh - the far north mine could be a thought - it's been a while since I've visited it.

Though, family might not wish to make the visit - most certainly on the "sketchy" list (narrow shelf road with "long-way-down" views") from my last visit.

indeed I have done that "sketchy" section down to the mine solo. Wife and kid are good with wheeling and off camber. We will have kiddos friend with he so I will have to feel that section
out tomorrow.
