Engine Computer Resource

Hi all,

Seems every summer we have a repair issue with our 2002 TJ and once again, I miss out on summer wheeling. We don't use our Jeep much in winter because we live at 9,000ft and it gets pretty squirrely on the roads in the winter. And, we were on our EPIC NZ/AU trip until the end of June. Got in the Jeep to go into town and it just DIED again!

We could use some resource advice. Our machinic says the Wrangler needs an engine computer and unfortunately, he is unable to locate one. I guess it's the same problem with all the other manufacturing slow-downs the country has been experience the past year or so.

Anyone know a resource that can provide us with an engine computer so I can get this lemon fixed and get it on the trail soon?

RockAuto or Parts Geek usually have any new parts I am looking for. If you have no luck there you can go the salvage route from www.car-part.com, I think most of the places will ship it to you.
