Default Spring Creek run mid-late June

I’ve never ran Spring Creek and now that I’ve built my Jeep and gained more experience I really want to. I would like to plan a day trip starting with Spring creek and then taking Cascade creek back to Idaho springs some time in mid to late June. I’d really like to do this on a weekday since weekends can be a zoo on this trail….. anyone interested?

Interested. Last time I did Spring Creed was 20 years ago. Even back then it was really busy on the weekends.

trail has gotten quite a bit more rough over the last 20 years. First time I ran this trail was on 31" tires. Would not think to try that now. Has been a couple years since I ran Spring Creek so I can't really fill in current conditions.

I'm very interested. Probably can't do a weekday unless its June 23. Read a trail report from a week ago that says its open and passable but had lots of mud and snow at the Rock Garden.

How about one of the weekdays the week of June 19th. Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday???

I leave on Saturday morning to head to Colorado. We will stay in Moab Saturday night and plan to do a quick Fins & Things or something close to town before heading to Colorado later morning….. looking forward to getting back for the summer!

Wednesday or Thursday of that week both work.
Fins & Things is a fun trail granted not that hard but fun. Have done it both in a Jeep and on a bike. Enjoy Moab!

I’ve only done Fins in full size trucks, first time in my Ram Rebel and 2nd time in the Powerwagon. Look forward to playing on the rocks in my Jeep!

    Hey Matt!

will the snow and mud be good by next week? I am really interested in this trail, weekdays are really hard for me but I might try to make it work for this one specifically. Is next week locked in yet for scheduling?

Nothings locked in yet …. I’ll have to figure it out this week and let you know. I would not want to do this on a weekend, I am. It a fan of zoo’s and it’ll be a zoo on the weekend
