Near Idaho Springs, spring creek is rated difficult (5/8) with a bypass for the Wall (8 rating) but supposed to be sustained difficultly most of the way. Saxon mountain is easier and mostly a very steep and narrow shelf road. Both meet at the top and Cascade creek (rated 4/4) is a nice run back down the mountain.
I have not done these (did some of the lower sections of Cascade creek a few winters ago) and would probably not run this solo. It’s about 1.5 hours to get to trailhead for me, mid to late morning startup would be ideal 🤙🏽
Anyone interested??
