Default Where to buy cheap wheels?

Anyone got a suggestion on places in the front range area to buy wheels? I am looking for a set 16x7 5x5.5 wheels for the wagon, and while I can find quite a few online aftermarket suppliers (with exactly what I want) - the sticker price is kind hitting hard. The price of new wheels and tires is so much that I am seriously considering skipping the lift kit, and whether its even worth anything more than new tires on my old 15" rims (that are too wide)....Anyone got a recommendation on a wheel shop?

Only thing I can think of is CL. Have you considered going to a 15 inch wheel? They seem to run a little cheaper depending on what style / material your wanting to run. I had 15x8 5x5.5 on the Scout and I believe I got four black steelies for about $50 - $60 each.

Can't get tall skinny tires in a 15" wheel. Plus 5x5.5 lug pattern is not very common these days, and even old fords and dodges that used 5x5.5, only required a 3.8 or so center bore. I need a 4.25 center bore. With 16s, 85 ratios are possible: either a 215/85/16 (think I can squeeze in with no lift) and 235/85/16 which would require a lift....Remember that original rims on these old Willys were only 4.5" wide, and they were designed in the rear for the tire to tuck inside the fender - so wide rims with wide tires (even when not that tall) require lift or trimming....Plus, I am going for a bit of the vintage look. Wide tires suck....

These are the ones i really want - but struggling to justify the price: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/usw-97-7755/overview
Also considering these which are very similar but with a bit of black:
    https://www.summitracing.com/parts/usw-94-7755/overview
But I've been considering these based on price:

Didn't really want a black wheel - but with chrome center caps (extra money) and lugs it could work....
    whadayall think?

Here are a couple CL finds - they are 15" which is not ideal for tire size...would probably end up with a 30x9.5 for now, and eventually add lift and bump up to 31-33x10.5 (33s are pretty big for an old willys with original running gear). I gave in and contacted both sellers as the price could be right ($50/wheel would be ideal)....of course, neither seller got back to me...

guess I should post a pic...replace the white wagon wheels with....

I have some that came off the Willys.... I’ll check the size when I get home. I had them powered coated but then Ended up going with different wheels. I’m pretty sure they are 16” wheels but I’ll post a pic. If they work you can have them, they are taking up room

Yeah - if your willys was the military m170 (and not a cj6 - sorry don't remember the details), then it would have had 16" wheels - most likely 16x4.5". We can definitely chat!

Hey there, thought I'd throw this out there. I found this deal a few days ago as I myself have been looking for some new wheels/tires. I've never bought anything through here before, but it's a pretty good deal. Looks like they have some 16x8 5x5.5/5 in the chrome crawler, not sure if that would work for ya.

That site is linked through US Wheels main site under the "Blowout Sale" on the top.

thanks....Been browsing US wheels website a lot...They have the wheels I want, but they are never in the garage blow out sale. I could live with those chrome crawlers, especially at $61 apiece, but can't go wider than a 16x7. Tough to mount a 215 wide tire on a 8" rim and the rim itself would start to hit the rear fender....I'd really prefer 16x6, but that is pretty much unobtanium, so 16x7 will work just barely.
