    Intersection of 80C and Route 59. Where 80c heads west it's no-winter-maint. I was there in the car a couple sundays ago and pushed things a bit too much (was a bit sketchy coming down the slick snow surface and wanting to NOT get stuck in a ditch).

    This story has my interest (80c in the summer is a nice, casual, scenic drive)

    Heading west / uphill on the start of 80c no maint:


    Then I turned around and made it _almost_ back to clear ground but I dropped a wheel off of the hardpack. I laid out the jeep tire chains for the win...

    I'd agree - farther north.

    It depends upon time if I might amble up that way to have a peek at what's over the top of the hill.
