When do they reveal the real truck? Today was a joke, right?

Seriously. Compared to the prototypes it's hideous, and the glass fail was hysterical. The best part of the glass was the weird magician guy dropping the balls. Rivian is, IMO, the electric car company to watch. Amazon is heavily invested, and check out how nice the truck is- this video is a video of people making a video about the Rivian truck for commercials:

For those that missed it, here is some info on the cyber truck incident:

Not sure why Tesla's design group is led by a half blind 5 year old... absolutely hideous. But hey, the doors can withstand 9mm rounds...

So, is the design going to happen or is this still TBD?
Have to admit, the CyberTruck has grown on me a little. Definitely weird looking but electric vehicles are weird. The interior seems really nice, I love the bed cover, built in loading ramp (although it should be power activated), adjustable height, stainless body panels, etc... It has the the RT1 beat in all the "Truck" specifications (towing capacity, payload, ground clearance, power outlets, range, etc...). There will almost certainly be some changes to the production model like side view mirrors and a more normal steering wheel and dash top panel. I bet they'll sell a bunch of them at the prices they are listing.
Plus it reminds me a little of this

Side view cameras with screens on each side of the dash would be cool.
Cool but currently not legal in the US. I had a rental BMW on my last trip to Munich that had a display on each door panel, similar to this Audi unit;
I think the main issue with these displays is viewing in bright daylight conditions.

I'd wondered what mountain driving and towing might do to range... Interesting data here;
