QFT - Hadn't heard of the "truth" meaning. My belief and intent was Quoted for Time. Either is close to another. A quoted post can't be edited by the original poster so another user quotes some text to ensure it stays up (for eternity).

And there it is... I left that dangling chad and Tom bit - he's opened shop making paracord jeep products (and soft shackles too??).

Kidding aside, yes, I would be interested in one for the passenger side. Let's talk sometime.

So here is my finished shackle. As expected 5’ is just a bit short and I didn’t have enough length forma button knot, used a diamond knot instead. Should work just fine and have a breaking strength around 30,000 lbs instead of the 34,000 lbs of a button knot.
6’ should be ideal for a button knot version.

Is a diamond knot significantly easier to tie? Is is much smaller in overall diameter?
