    Default Kinetic Recovery Rope

I've been watching too many of the Matt's Recovery vids. Seeing a kinetic recovery rope in action has me adding it to the recovery bag. Time for snow bashing!

While Matt is promoting the Yankum brand, I went with ASRoffroad...

I just have mix of soft and hard shackles and a kinetic strap. The strap seemed easier to store.

They work great in snow and mud.

These bags are great for storage.

I bought one, but it turned out to be WAY too short. I felt like I was up against the other rig's bumper and it was going to slingshot into me. It was also harder to use because you had to get your rig a lot closer to the stuck one. I returned it.

I bought this one in the winter of 2015/16, and it was only $75 at the time, the price went up to $125 now.

    What length was it?

I went with 30' but think that in some spots it'll be a bit too long - but I went with 30 because I wanted the greater elasticity.

Michael, I'll look at those bags as a dedicated bag for this is on my mind - and while I'm buying a bag I'll get a second for all of the other straps (that don't fit into the warn red-bag recovery kit)

3/4" x 20'. It says in the text and the Amazon link that I posted.

Ah, I took it that the one you listed was the "second" rope purchased as the first was too short.

    Thx.
