Control arms were replaced yesterday. The Jeep appears to be ok now. How are you feeling about this trip next week, Chris?
We are still game if you are. Weather looks cool with a possibility of moisture Monday and Wednesday, but that far out is more of a guess.
A bit on the fence. I enjoy Moab and would like to go. If it is snowy or wet, I'm not sure what we'll do out there. Those temps would be the coldest of any trip I've taken to Moab as well. Maybe let's give it another day or two and see how things progress? Have you settled on some trails you want to run?
No problem waiting a couple of days. I don’t mind it being cool and would expect any snow to be like what was at the house this morning, maybe half an inch on the roof and lawn. Didn’t look like I-70 was going to get it so the drive back shouldn’t be affected. I would think 7 mile rim Sunday, Dome Plateau and or the Copper Ridge/Klondike Bluffs depending on weather. 3D looks to be an interesting run as well and probably more of a challenge than the Copper loop. Thought of running Medano and staying close, but it closes at the top on Tuesday.
Wunderground is putting the chance of precipitation at negligible for next week, if I'm reading this 10-day forecast properly -- https://www.wunderground.com/forecast/us/ut/moab
Let's plan on the wheeling Moab next week.
Already was planning on heading out Saturday morning either way. I will throw a calendar entry up just in case someone else wants to jump in as well
