    Default Gateway To Moab

This shows John Brown Canyon rd to Castleton rd to 128

this is the only semi-difficult part of Thompson Canyon and Onion Creek, it's just a hill.

Looks like fun. I'd like to do that sometime, but our schedules aren't going to align for this on the upcoming trip, unfortunately. Thanks for sharing!

I did this route last year - west to east. I have GPS timestamps where I can look up durations - if anyone's interested.
(did some looking for times - more detail is available)

5h 27m - Fort Collins to Clifton CO (east side of Grand Junction - hopping off of I-70 to head to Gateway)
1h 20m - Clifton CO to Gateway CO
    2h 00m - Gateway CO to Castle Valley @ Colorado River / CO-128

It sounds like the current route is much the same as what I did????? Onion creek somehow involved.
