Non Rubi sway bar issue

I am trying to install quick disconnects, but my sway bar doesn't move. In videos I have seen, people seem to easily move it up and down to make room for quick disconnects. Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

It should move, try a little lube where the swaybar goes through the bushing on the frame.

It won't move much at all if it is connected on one side.

I appreciate the replies and help!! I am new to trying to do Jeep work myself, I will give it a go and disconnect BOTH this time
