Hi wheelers,
I moved here two years ago for work. New to the area but have been wheeling almost 30 years. My old rig was worn out so it got left to rest in Tennessee. A few months ago I bought a 1993 Explorer and started getting it trail ready. I’m setting it up more for back country camping and overlanding than rock crawling. Thus far it’s just been basic maintenance, cb install, 31” mud tires on steel wheels, and trail testing. 5000 miles since purchasing, it’s going to be a good light rig. Just today the lift and manual hubs arrived so that and a fresh fuel pump will be my Saturday project. This week I plan on ordering a twin stick manual transfer case conversion, chromolly axles, and c clip eliminators. Soon to come winch and lockers. By spring I should have a heck of a camping rig. Thanks for the invite. I hope to see some of you on the trails.
