    Default JL Axle

Got these from another site. JL was sitting on 38's which would stress most OE 30's or 44's anyway. The JL does not use the standard 30 or 44 axle as it has an axle disconnect in it to supposedly help with gas mileage. It appears it broke in the area of the disconnect apparatus.

Will see how long the viscuss coupler in the T-case lasts!

We are losing them in our 5500's right around the 100k mile marker....

That’s a bad day. I suspect there’s more to the story than just 38’s though, maybe a little air time?

Could be, the blurb stated going too fast with them.
