Those folks are very lucky the injuries from the tree weren’t far worse.

We did that trail a month ago. (Micallister gulch) I can't imagine him taking his stock land cruiser through the creek bed. It is no joke difficult for a lifted vehicle let along his toyota on stock tires. Impressive! I gotta say the creek bed is so fun and cool part of that trail and if it's not on your bucket list it should be.

The safest place to have jumped would have been behind the ATV. Get low and let the ATV take the abuse.
