Default Street Legal Roxor in MT

"we put 1967 cj 5 hubs on our roxor and licensed it for the road" in Montana where "we're still free!"

Here's where you can drive it on the street in Colorado: http://staythetrail.org/content.aspx...dule_id=247557

the windshield is the key part...the hubs don't really matter in terms of getting plates - but they certainly make it easier to drive on pavement. Montana has some very unique laws for registration, including lifetime registration for older vehicles. Alan can give us specs, but I have been looking to permanently register my truck and or jeep through Montana (as a property owner).

Montana has some great licensing rules. Motor vehicles older than 9 or 11 years (can't remember which) qualify for a permanent registration. And it's pretty reasonable. I think I paid about $140 to license my 97 TJ. All trailers, including recreational trailers are permanently licensed, also. That's trailers of any kind: utility, 5th wheel RV's, boat trailers, virtually any trailer. The license plate simply gets a PERM tag, and you never pay another fee.

Should be able to get the same license for the Roxor as ATV's and side by sides in Wyoming as well. They are allowed on the roads as long as they have the plate.

I realize I wasn't very clear, but Montana also registers all motorcycles, four wheelers, side by sides, etc, with a PERM tag. One and done.
