Default Johnny Park, Pierson Park, maybe pole hill

Any interest Oct Sat. 6 or 13?
Shouldn’t be any snow issues as these are lower elevations. If you haven’t been to pierson since the slide its well worth seeing.

New to the club? These are very moderate trails suitable for stock vehicles.

Likely meet up at the park in Lyons.

    Jim,
Just found out my company should be leaving just before the 6th. Just don’t feel like driving all the way back to Argentine this season.

For sure interested! I haven't been on Pierson since the slide. I just ran Pole Hill a few weeks ago or so with Rob, but I would be game to do it again.

Trailsoffroad, which you linked above, has Pierson Park Road listed as "closed". I have no knowledge either way, but thought I'd point it out and ask if that's an error.

I've never been to these trails. I think I'd like to run them sometime. Either October date might work for me.

Tom might elaborate on Pierson Park. North or south? Likely the south section as it's quite close to Johnny Park.

PP used to be a through trail but it was cut in half by a landslide. The south section has been open but I am uncertain as to the north section - is it open?

Pierson Park is open. I have run it the last three years. It was closed for awhile after the 2013 floods.

    FS page shows open.

I was thinking the south side because as Jim pointed out its close tp Johnny Park. That said I have only run the North side once since the floods and could easily be talked into running the North side. Its closer to pole hill.

Anyway I could see doing either/both based on group desires.

I think I'd be able to make the 13th. 6th is a no-go as of right now for me. Volunteer event scheduled for that day, but as of yet is unconfirmed.

    Tom
The 6th would probably work for me. Any interest in maybe adding T33 (plane crash) to list of trail's Difficulty is also moderate and fun. been wanting to run this trail again.

Scheduled for the 13th which just works better for me. T33a will need to be another run. Still flexible on Pierson North and Pole hill.

Sounds good - I'll put it on the calendar. That being said I'd be up for T33 at some point.
