Are they interior seals (near the diff) or exterior at the axle tube ends?
What makes'm time consuming?
They are inside near the diff. Had to pull the hydro steering, tires/wheels, brakes, hubs and rotors, spindles, axle shafts, and diff just to access them.
OYE
Seals are in; diff, axles shafts, caliper brackets, and spindles are back on.
Nice job.
How many hours at task?
Around 8-10 so far.
They are RCV axle shafts that are essentially a birfield joint.

That's a chunk of time - good you can do it yourself otherwise it'd be costly.
Exactly why I chose to do it myself, probably a $1,000 job. Same thing on my JK was about $600 and it is a lot easier on a D44.
It's all done.........finally.
