    Default Nicely Built 47cj2a

Other than the T90, its got most of what I would want in a nicely built old jeep. I think it actually has a D44 out of a 71 to go with the D18 - but is hard to tell from the pics.

I've already got one impractical short wheelbase jeep - that 47 is actually very similar to mine with the later v6 and drivetrain, but has ARBs and upgraded steering (and of course the classic flat fender body). If I were looking for a replacement then I would be on this, but two of the same isn't so interesting. I am interested in something with longer wheelbase: cj6 cj8 m170 jeepster or maybe an old wagon like this: https://denver.craigslist.org/cto/d/...692595581.html
Went to look at it on monday....tempting....big project to totally bring it back but its a clean slate and would get a modern EFI engine with automatic transmission. More of a street cruiser with 4wd than a wheeling rig though.

true...impractical and character are not necessarily mutually exclusive...
