    Default Longwater - Metberry

Yesterday, Shane and Emma, Brandon, me and my gang ran LW/Met gulches.
The weather stayed perfect all day, the 13 yro's got to drive loops at the bottom of Metberry.
Brandon got to help a poor lady find her camping friends who let her drive an older stock Tahoe, alone, all the way to the bottom of Metberry.
I didn't even drive, any, and still had a lot of fun!

I enjoyed meeting Shane and his daughter and getting to wheel with that crazy ass Brandon again, I swear he lapped us at least once!

Looking forward to the next one as always.

Here are what few pics I took:

Glad you had a good time! Chad and I wound up at Upper Geneval Creek. It was rocky and dusty, but the bowl at the top (11,400 ft) still had some snow in it and we got to eat lunch by a snowfield and beautiful weather.

Aaron, was a good day man. I thought I was going to be late, but was early by just a few minutes.
I didnt see anyone by 10;30. So down longwater I want, seems the Crossing might be open.
Any how watch a mess of folks go off to hackett doing the crossing and no signage as would normally be there.
I fallowed thus how Aaron and Shane got lapped!.
10:30 from top of longwater, 12:45 one mile down longwater find these guys coming back up!
So ya I kinda haul down these roads.

Esther- oh wow....the poor HOE this poor truck just got its but kicked. must say impressed she got it in there and out without stuck!
Her friends a dip ****. they were at mile point 3 from the start of Cedar mtn road, but they all left and wheeled thus no one to see at camp!7 miles way to far in a stock street tire truck.
She made it to her folks, and home safely.
She says thank you us all for making sure she was safely out of Mettbery
As well the HOE will go to the dealership for trade on a jeep or Yota!

pics.....I have some, got to move them from the phone..... soon I swear

I didn't name it, but Emma calls it Papa Smurf. She names all our vehicles. She wants to hit China Wall tomorrow but that rocky area has a lot of pucker factor in videos I've seen.

Ya I told him the same thing.
But it will be his 3rd trail ever so I can understand his hesitation.
But Shane you do great. You made mettberry with no issues. Longwater would have been easy....just the confidence to attack it....remember. G.O.A.L. get out and look. It's you goal to conmplet the trail but not bust your stuff!
I think you will do great.
Have fun keep your eye on the calendar. As well plan some. I will gladly come out with you if you want to push the comfort level.
