    Default Argentine Pass July 1st

Planning to run this and do some hiking... Haven't been up to this trail in years. Will be adding it to the calendar as an official run.

Meet at the Sinclair Gas Station in Georgetown @ 9:30 am... Heading up the trail at 10:00 am

Would love to run this again. Cannot do July 1, though.

Its a cool run, Sanitgo Mine is at the top and it’s pretty awesome from what I recall.

I don't know current condition but last season the mine buildings were off limits / trail blocked / gated. The buildings seem to be a restoration project - which will be cool once completed. I don't know what this season will show for access.

Both trails are not closed due to the mine gate / they're runnable. The mine is at a dead end spur and it's gated just before the mine.

I typically run this in the fall for the colors in the Aspens. So will not be joining.

What Jim said about the gates is correct. I have been up there several times since they closed the mine area for cleanup.

Yep - after doing the M trail - I'd do both as a set. Vastly different ridge view for each.

If we're thinking of the same trail(s), it's been tugging at my eye too.

Is this the set you're looking at?

Plus, the trail to the north!

Thats the one Jim. Forgot about the north one. Love to do that one too. It could still have snow right now though me thinks.

love this area. someone has leased one of the claims, thus why things are fenced off. As well they built a cabin up there.
    Enjoy the trip.
