New Jeep owner in Fountain

Hey all,

I just bought an 18 Wrangler JK sport and my daughter and I are looking to spend some time wheeling. Thinking about doing Metberry Gulch this weekend, I understand that trail is doable in a stock Wrangler, but any info to the contrary would be appreciated. I've spent many years as a driving instructor for a road racing track in Texas before we moved to Colorado a few years back, all my wheel time has been on road. No experience at all off-road other than ages of dirt biking, I don't think I'll be lifting the wheels on the Jeep to get over ruts or obstacles though.

Come out to the China Wall run tomorrow. It's a bit different than a "typical trail run" in that there's a loose picnic / social gathering tied onto the trail. I'd think CW would be fine for a stock JK but I'll leave others to pipe up on that.

Metberry is a good one to run with plenty of bypasses, have you considered our China Wall run today? There's going to be a bunch of us out there.

We drove out to do Metberry and the way the GPS took us the gate to get past the lake was closed. Hope the run you guys had today went well.
