    Default Bunce and Ironclads

I ran all of Bunce with Ironclads this morning. Great weather and not much traffic. My son and I met a guy from the U.K. with a bad ass Rubicon on 40’s followed him down ironclads where he took a couple picks of me. Tacoma did awesome it likes when I feather the throttle and let the tires find traction but then at the very end I ran over a rock that wasn’t even big and knocked my alignment out again bad Toyota lol. All in all great day!

Not sure how hard it is on a Tacoma but on the Jeep TJs doing the alignment is as easy as pie!

Hey Matt I actually might try adjusting the tie rods myself this time. Caster and camber seems to hold but the toe gets out of wack every couple months. I think the steering rack on these trucks is a weak point.

Toe is what I adjust on my Jeeps, 2 bolts and a channel lock if needed to turn the adjustment sleeve —- your truck is new so nothing should be rusted stuck

we gotta get out together, it’s been too long and I haven’t yet seen with new lift!

I thought Phillip took the elephant up it? Taco is a midsize and I don’t mind pin stripes. Think I’d be ok Trent? want to go? Or we can do another trail I’m open.

Phillip did take the elephant up it. There was a spot, maybe two, where there was risk of contacting a tree on the left side (going uphill) where the gulch forced vehicles to tilt left. The pickup had a lot less room there than the Jeeps. I think Matt took his ram up there before too. Maybe he'll comment on the experience.

I think you'll make it fine. It's much rockier and more challenging than Switzerland.

It gets a little tight in a few spots but it won’t be a problem. I’m down to do an early morning T33 airplane and/or Park creek off of Bunce if that sounds more fun

Pen is fun but pretty short

I might be into Park creek haven’t done that one yet. Is there any sketchy obstacles I still don’t have sliders yet? I’m kinda limited on time, I have to be back in Broomfield by 2. Also Toytec has their customer appreciation day on Saturday not that the Jeep guy’s care but I definitely want to go wheeling with you Matt!

I think I'm up for some Saturday morning wheeling. I'm not familiar with Park Creek, though. Does it have a different name in the Wells guide, or maybe isn't listed there?

Maybe next time. Would have run it with you this time, but didn't see this post until I woke up today, too late to make it for 0900. Chris and I ran a bunch of trails anyway, though. Was a good day in the mountains.
