Definitely a good day. As stated, we plowed through and didn't stop to play much. Luckily the rain held off. Hats off to Paul and James, cold morning drive and cold/wet drive in the afternoon without solid doors (or doors at all) and partial tops at most.

Got contacted by ABC news this morning, they asked for permission to use clips of this video. It was from ABC in Washington, the national news. I don't have full details of it yet, but will post when they let me know more. Chris, Brian and James, you might be on TV.

Ha, I had the same thought afterward, googled the guy who contacted me and he seems nice, legit. Looks like he's in Denver, not national as I thought from the profile he contacted me from. There is also nothing in that video that is wrong, we stayed the trail and had fun, nothing negative at all. This is him on twitter https://twitter.com/jeffreycook?lang=en

They used a couple of seconds of Chris' beautiful JKUR in the Chinaman Gulch section starting at about 1:05. That's what you get for having such a nice Jeep...

So that explains the fires/fireworks in front of my house and lasers in my windows last night.

Chinaman Gulch has been "highly problematic"? I don't think so.

Remember Negro Bill Canyon in Moab? Now it's called "Overcrowded Full Of Trash". JK, I'm OK with changing the name if it's genuinely offensive. I'm just glad it's not a hit piece on offroading.
