the weather forecast has changed, it looks like it's going to rain on and off on Friday in Central City, and all day on Saturday. Yankee Hill is already a bit of a mudfest this time of year when its not raining; I'm leaning towards cancelling it or finding another trail...

Pickle could work...its so short that its nice to combine with something else...maybe Moon gulch? I am just throwing out ideas...but I am probably skiing and not wheeling this weekend.

Pickle is more fun that Yankee anyways.... Pennsylvania Gulch is even more fun, but getting to the start requires taking the Switzerland trail from either direction (easy) or driving up 4 Mile Canyon to the end. My weather app shows its going to be cloudy but I doubt it will be a steady rain or anything..... I'm not 100% sure I can go on Saturday but I would like to get out of my little part of the mountains for once ;-)

...if it's sunny I might take my Corvette out on the weekend..... but if it's rainy/snowy I will take the Jeep out!!!!

Pennsylvania is OK, Pickle is a GREAT trail but I'm not sure it or the connectors are passable yet..? Yankee is still on, I guess we'll just wait and see what Friday brings.

Mike Nelson weather just said the storms this weekend are mostly going to be staying to the North of Colo.

I did pickle 2 weeks ago and ran into deep impassable snow around the bend from the cabin. you may want to hit it from another direction than starting at the campground
