Gordon Gulch and Switzerland Trail - 4/29/2018

Taco Chris and I ran Gordon Gulch and Switzerland Trail today. Weather was fantastic, and the top came off the Jeep for the first time this year.

Gordon gulch was surprisingly short and quite full with campers. We did not take the optional challenging spur, but did encounter some very deep mud in one spot.

Switzerland trail was very dusty and dry south of Pennsylvania Gulch, but was very wet, with standing water more than hub deep in a couple places north of Pennsylvania Gulch. The Jeep is pretty muddy from today's excursion.

Chris brought his son, and my family joined me. Everyone had a great time with a casual pace, easy trail, and time to explore on foot between trail segments.

I didn't take any photos, but do have a video of Chris climbing one of the interesting sections of Switzerland Trail near the northern terminus.

I had a great time today wheeling with you and your family Trent! Cameron and Nora had a blast in the back of the taco. Thanks for coming out and we’ll definitely do it again!
