    Default Footwear

I was just told that people should have at least 2 pairs of work and workout shoes/boots. Guess after a normal day of work or a hard workout or long run, compacts the foam and other materials within the footwear and it can take longer than 24 hours for them to correct themselves. So the theory goes that if you switch out your footwear everyday, they will last longer, provide better protection and cushioning, and cause the wearer less health issues.

While this information sounds great, I am not smart enough to know how much truth there is to this. Any one here care to chime in?

Were you told this by a shoe salesperson? What if your shoes are 100% leather?

A physical therapist told me this. Suggested I wear a different pair of footwear each day to help with some daily lower back pain.

First time I've heard this, but I'm ready to buy an aftermarket insole.

A lot has changed for me over the past two years, including my body. Currently, I only wear my "work boots" when I have to: Same brand, different model, different working conditions, and I pretty much lived in those boots. Time to adapt!

I have two pair of work deepending on the weather...
Now, before you start snickering. I have my Redback low cuts most of the time (unimaginable comfortable) but fairly smooth soles.
Then I have my Snapons hightops for bad weather. Good traction and stiff for my ankles.
But I only wear my work boots at work. I have regular tenants for back and forth ( so I don't destroy my truck carpet)
