"I was just told that people should have at least 2 pairs of work and workout shoes/boots. Guess after a normal day of work or a hard workout or long run, compacts the foam and other materials within the footwear and it can take longer than 24 hours for them to correct themselves. So the theory goes that if you switch out your footwear everyday, they will last longer, provide better protection and cushioning, and cause the wearer less health issues.
While this information sounds great, I am not smart enough to know how much truth there is to this. Any one here care to chime in?"
First time I've heard this, but I'm ready to buy an aftermarket insole.
A lot has changed for me over the past two years, including my body. Currently, I only wear my "work boots" when I have to: Same brand, different model, different working conditions, and I pretty much lived in those boots. Time to adapt!
