What routes are you considering? Red Elephant Hill is one that I've been eying..... Spring Creek looks fun but also looks like a route that can break stuff.... I need to get the wife to approve before I can count myself in

A few of us will be trying red elephant. Just not sure about the snow at the top of the hill. We will attempt to get all the way up to the lake.

Just an FYI - most of the areas near Berthoud received 4-5 inches of snow on Thurs night and another 4-5 predicted today through sat with quite a bit of wind drifting. Temps are staying below freezing, although the full snow amounts are probably a bit higher than the bottom of Red Elephant. Have fun, be safe...I am going skiing near there (Butler Gulch - Jones Pass). Hoping for a foot plus!
